Hello, everyone. My name is Matt, and I’m the Chief Editor at Speakerhead.

And I’m here to tell you about something cool we’re up to.

Since launching earlier last month, we’ve gotten an outpouring of support from our new readers — mostly other music nerds and people we’ve met at concerts.

Thanks for reading our stuff on the web. You guys have followed us on Instagram. You’ve sent us the kindest emails.

Now, we’re going to stop posting on here for a few weeks.

Why? So we can give you something even cooler this March.

Enter: Speakerhead’s first official magazine release! That’s right — just like those outdated pieces of tree pulp your grandparents used to have, we’re going to make a physical magazine that you can buy both online and in real-life stores.

And this thing’s jam-packed. We’ve got articles about why your favorite venues are closing in San Francisco. Why everyone’s favorite indie rapper from Vallejo is battling sell-out accusations after signing with Jay-Z’s label. The comeback of San Francisco Punk. The pro-billionaire march. Post-rock. Horoscopes.

Oh yeah. Shit’s getting real.

We’re going to try and keep posting, but if we’re being honest, it’s not our first priority because SEO is hard and the internet is getting weird anyway.

But, if you pick up a physical magazine, you can also read all our articles that were too hot for the internet.

Is it our savviest business decision ever? No, not by a long shot.

Are we doing it for you? You bet your sweet ass.

Stay tuned and strap in, because this one’s gonna be fun. Oh, and forward any hate mail you have about this to speakerheadmagazine@gmail.com.

See you all in March!
